Biography

Arturo Baltazar Received a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering and a M.S. degree in materials science from the Universidad Michoacana, Mexico, and a Ph.D. degree in Industrial Welding and System Engineering from Ohio State University, USA, in 2001. He is currently a Researcher-Professor with the Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing Program, CINVESTAV-Saltillo, Mexico. He has authored many technical papers and participated in national and international research projects related to nondestructive evaluation of materials and structures using ultrasound and artificial intelligence. He is currently a Level II Member of the Mexican National Researchers.
